GFS Downscaling
This is a simple attempt of "downscaling" the deterministic GFS
forecast. I have set up two single-grid WRF-ARW runs with a resolution of
about 15 km that use the six-day GFS forecast as its initial and boundary
conditions. The large scale forcing for this run is totally from the GFS forecast.
Currently, we have configurations for Florida and the eastern United States. Other
configurations can be easily added.
